Cambrian Village Trust is proud to collaborate with Remember2Care CIC, an organisation whose values and mission closely align with our own commitment to community wellbeing.

Cambrian Village Trust (CVT) is a charitable organisation based in Clydach Vale, Rhondda Cynon Taf, South Wales. Established in 2001, CVT began with the aim of providing football opportunities for young people in the local area. Over time, it has grown into a vibrant community hub offering a wide range of inclusive programmes and services that promote health, wellbeing, education, and social connection.

Cambrian Village Trust is located within Cwm Clydach Countryside Park, making use of its natural surroundings to enhance community engagement and wellbeing. Their work is rooted in inclusivity, accessibility, and a deep commitment to improving lives across Rhondda Cynon Taf and the wider community.

What Cambrian Village Trust Does:

  • Inclusive Sports & Physical Activities: Football for all genders and age groups, walking rugby, cycling, walking groups, dance classes, onsite gym and adapted sports for people with disabilities.
  • Health & Wellbeing Programmes: Supporting men, women, people living with anxiety and depression, individuals with sensory impairments, autism, and carers.
  • Outdoor Learning & Environmental Projects: Activities like bushcraft, hiking, canoeing, and gardening, including the development of a sensory garden and fruit orchard.
  • Alternative Education: Engaging young people through non-traditional learning experiences, to enhance their chances of further education, employment or apprenticeship and stop them becoming a NEET (Not in employment, education or training) statistic.
  • Community Café: The Cambrian Lakeside Café Bar serves as a social hub and meeting place for the community.
  • Partnerships: CVT works with schools, charities, and local organisations to deliver long-term impact in areas such as active living, mental health, and environmental sustainability.

Through these initiatives, we consistently see the need for the kind of support Remember2Care provides. We’re excited to be able to use and signpost our users to their services, helping to further support their wellbeing journey.

Remember2Care consistently demonstrates a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and families across our communities. Their holistic approach to health—encompassing emotional, physical, and mental wellbeing—has made a tangible difference in the lives of those they support.

Their team brings compassion, professionalism, and innovation to every interaction. Whether through tailored wellbeing plans, therapeutic support, or community outreach, Remember2Care has proven to be a trusted partner in building resilience and improving quality of life.

We’ve seen first-hand the positive impact of their work. Recently, we invited Remember2Care to deliver mental health and wellbeing workshops to all our football groups. These sessions provided players with practical tools to manage their mental health, balance the pressures of performance, and support one another both on and off the pitch. Delivered in a relaxed and engaging format, the workshops encouraged open conversations and offered actionable advice for building resilience in a high-performance environment.

We wholeheartedly endorse their continued efforts to expand and deepen their reach. Remember2Care is a vital asset to Rhondda Cynon Taf and beyond.
